How can I upgrade my plan?
How do I upgrade my account so I can exchange files over 2 GB I'm trying to go into everything to upgrade and it doesn't give me the option

A client of ours shared access with us to their folder, unfortunately, the folder is too big for our DropBox to open. ... we need access to the folder without upgrading our Dropbox plan.
If you only need view/download access, ask your client to send you a view-only shared link. You'll be able to view the files without affecting your account, but you won't have edit access.
If you need edit access then you'll either need to upgrade your account or, if they have a Business account, join their Business Team. Just know that if you join their Team account with your current account that you will be merging your account into theirs, effectively making them the owner of the account and granting them access to the files in your account. If you decide to join their Team, I'd suggest doing it with a new, empty account.
