Can't update billing info as I'm on the Basic plan - how can I update my credit card?

I need to update my credit card info, but Dropbox won't let me do this unless I upgrade from my Basic plan to Plus. The option for "current plan" is grayed out, and my only choice is "Try free for 30 days" for Plus.  How do I just update my credit card without switching to Plus?

  • You only need to update your card if you are a paying user. So, if you being told you are on a Basic plan the account you are logged in on is not a paid one. That means if you are paying its for a different account

Can't I just continue using Basic without even upgrading?! Why is this?! Does it only apply for mobile app?
      Thanks in advance!

Yes kukicana13 you can stay on the free plan as long as you want - and as long as you stay within the parameters of that (ie. quota etc.)
