Cancelled my Business account and now I cannot use my email for another account for 30 days

Has anyone experienced this, I created a business team account by mistake and wanted to cancel and start over. 

I asked the chatbot if I should cancel my trail plan and start over or downgrade. They advised me to cancel the account. 

I did so and now when I try to create a new account with a basic plan I cannot do so for 30 days. Is there any way to get around this?

    Can you please describe the exact steps you followed?

     

    Also, what kind of error did you see when you tried to create a new Dropbox account under the address used for the Business trial?

      To cancel a Dropbox free trial: 1. Log in to www.dropbox.com with your admin credentials. 2. Click Admin console in the left sidebar. 3. Click Billing in the left sidebar. 4. At the bottom of the page, click Cancel your trial. 5. Click Cancel Dropbox Business. 6. Click the checkbox to acknowledge that disbanding a team is permanent. 7. Click Disband team and log out. -You’ll receive an email confirming that your free trial is canceled.
