Bought out business partners. How to create an account, using the same email?

When our business was created, our partners created a Dropbox account and that is where we share all files (invoices, bills, admin docs, etc.). My husband and I have now bought our business...
Thank you for the clarification Mark. We don't want the old business partners and their office staff to continue to have access to all of our business information going forward. Do you have any advice or recommendations for us moving forward?

Super User IIIf you now own the business does that include emails etc.? If so log on and change the password (and maybe set up 2FA?).
Or, get them to provide the log ons etc. to the account and then log in yourselves and change them 🙂
You can also unlink any devices they have at www.dropbox.com/account/security.
