Hi there discofuel, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.
I understand your frustration around the rollout for full support of Dropbox for macOS 12 and higher.
We want to provide customers with the best possible experience In order to do this, we chose to have an extensive integration with macOS, which has required additional testing.
We’re continuing to work on this and in most cases, you can expect to receive the updated version of Dropbox for macOS by the end of May 2023. In the meantime, to join our beta you can turn on early releases.
As for what to expect with this update, you can have a look here and here.
Please be assured that we are working very hard to have a smooth transition between macOS versions to ensure that you always have access to all your files.
I know this is not much, but I hope it helps to some extent.

No one wants this "update". Do the right thing for your users and stop. Loyal customers will be forced to change providers.
