If you mark files as available offline, do they show any green ticks? Do any of these icons appear instead?

Hi Jay.
If I manually mark a file as available offline, it does show a green tick.

This means that it should be working properly, since no icons on files means that they're 'available' as per the link in my previous post.
If you edit a file, does the small circular syncing icon like that on the article appear, even if momentarily?

If I edit a file, a empty cloud icon appears, then disappears.
Got it. I guess I was confused by this:
"A file or folder with no icon means that it has been opened either by double-clicking or through a third-party application and synced. "
None of the tens of thousands of files in my Finder have an icon. But I haven't double-clicked all of them and I'm not sure what opened via third-party application means.
What I'm gathering is that before the upgrade, synced files were noted with an icon, but after the upgrade, synced files have no icon. It's a confusing switch but I get it now.
