Hey @tpkelliher, we recognize that our new system requirements will make it difficult to run the desktop application on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and its derivatives & we apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

Other than that, it's also possible to receive an email but not be impacted by the end of support event. We reached out to users who run Dropbox on unsupported operating systems or whose operating system report "unknown" Linux operating systems or versions. Please ensure all devices meet our new operating system requirements.

In other words, I understand that you’d like to act pro-actively, though if our system requirements are met, then Dropbox should continue working as expected.

Users who are unable to meet the new system requirements can still access their files through dropbox.com on a supported browser. In addition, they can use the Dropbox app on supported Linux, Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.

In any event, as you’ve already reached out to us here, I’d like to re-assure you that this is a direct point of contact. If you have any follow-up questions, please do let me know here & I’ll make sure to get back in touch with you on my end. Thanks & enjoy the rest of your day until we talk again!
