Hi dtrn, how are you today?
Have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps mentioned throughout this thread, such as clearing your cache, or using a different browser?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan,
Yep, I have tried the other solutions, cache, different browser etc. But still get ting the same issue across multiple browsers.

Not the files but the folders. So if I middle click or ctrl-click on a folder it won’t open in a new tab but open in the same tab. If I try the same thing on a file or anything not in a folder, it will open in a new tab as expected.
This happens on every folder, and behaves the same across all the DB accounts I have. - Nancy2 years agoDropbox Staff
Thanks for clarifying that, dtrn, and sorry for jumping in.
If you haven’t tried this already, can you please open an incognito window on your current browser and let me know if you see any difference?
Have you noticed similar issues on other platforms or just when using Dropbox?

Hi Nancy,
Same problem, when trying in incognito. And this ‘quirk’ is only happening with Dropbox, not had this with anything else. From browsing sites, clicking links, other places where I files are folders etc. - dtrn2 years agoExplorer | Level 4Yeah sure thing
