Mac downloads folder has moved, Airdrop no longer functions
Good morning guys - how can I restore my Downloads folder (most current MAC OS) to where Apple expects and needs for it to be so Airdrop will function ? I need Airdrop more than dropbox in this day ...

Hey dashingdan, thanks for reaching out to our Community and sorry to hear about your issue.
Indeed, our engineers are currently investigating this issue.
In the meantime, you have a couple of options to choose from:
1) You can disable backup for the downloads folder, by following the steps here:
- Click the Dropbox icon in your menu bar (Mac).
- Click the Sync and Backups tab.
- Click Mac.
- Click Change folders.
- Uncheck the box next to the Downloads folder.
- Click Save.
2) If you’d like to continue backing up the downloads folder, you’ll need to delete and re-enable Dropbox Backup.
I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions.
