Is it safe to clear my cache on Android? Will that delete my files?

The "Clear Data" button in the Application Info section of your Android device will only clear data and files that are stored locally on your device for the selected application. It will not delete any files on your Dropbox account or in any other cloud storage service.
When you use the "Clear Data" option, it will delete all data associated with the selected application, including your login credentials, app settings, cache files, and any user-generated data. It will not affect any files stored on external storage or cloud services like Dropbox.
Long story short, it is safe to clear cache, but you should think twice before deleting data on your Dropbox.
