How can I collapse the Dropbox folder in the navigation pane on Windows 11?

Each time I start Win11 and I open a new window in Explorer View, the Dropbox folder is completely expanded in the Navigation Pane. As I have a lot of subfolders, it takes all the vertical space, and this is very inconvenient. Is there a way to default the Dropbox folder to be collapsed (as all the others normally are), and only expanding it when needed by clicking on the > sign at the left of it?

  • Hi Jay thanks, after your question I realised this was I problem I had with all our folders, and solved it. I am sorry for having disturbed the whole community. Sylow23.

Hi Sylow23, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you attach a series of screenshots showing what you're describing in Explorer?

Is this only happening with the Dropbox folder?

This will help me to assist further!
