    The solution turned out to be funny, but not very. Simply, if you have another computer or laptop, and dropbox is working there, then copy the Program Files(x86) folder from your another computer to yours. I just installed win 11 on the hard drive without deleting the old system- win 10, and installed dropbox in win11 and then just copied it to win10 and everything worked. If there is the same error, but there is no way to get the files, then you can write here and ask for dropbox files... I'll send it, but I won't see the message right away.

Have you ensured that the Windows OS is on the latest version with all security updates installed?
 
Do you have any other software on your machine that could affect or monitor how programs are installed?
