Dropbox is using over 4GB of RAM on my M1 Macbook Pro 13".
I realise that we are waiting for the native Apple Silicon version, but this is rediculous. I've been using dropbox for more than 10 y...

Also, most of my files are using selective sync and are on the main supported drive, as mentioned in the article.

The same dropbox installation and account is using 400mb on my old intel mac.

Hi. Sorry for late reply. The RAM usage do not happen in spikes, it remains consistently high while dropbox is running.

As it seems that you're running the beta version, could you try our latest, stable version of the desktop app and let us know if you notice the same behavior?
To do so, first make sure to toggle off the 'early releases' from your account's settings online and, then, download and install this version of the app.
