Dropbox not opening
Hi, I have just installed dropbox on a new PC but it wont open or run, I have read through any related post on here and have tried all the suggestions but it is still not working.
Uninstalling and reinstalling.
I already have 2 devices linked so a 3rd should be ok, can anyone please help.

Try installing an older stable version (Stable Build 178.4.4811 works for me).
Myself and a few others have started having issues with the latest version of Dropbox. You can see a few complaints about this on the latest stable build https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-desktop-client-builds/Stable-Build-179-4-4917/td-p/701574.
This may only be a short-term fix until Dropbox auto-update to the problematic version (179.4.4917) or until Dropbox releases a hotfix.

Hi, thank you for your suggestion and sorry for the delay in replying, unfortunately this didn't work, I even tried to install an earlier version but the App will still not open and run.
Thank you

Sorry to jump in here, davetee.
Can you please clarify for me what's the exact OS version of the device on which you're having trouble running the Dropbox app?
Did you also try to install it via our offline installer and you saw no difference?
When checking this page, do you only see two devices connected under the Devices section?
