Hey catpainting136, thanks for reaching out to us.
I believe the best thing to do at this point is the following:
- Unlink the computer from your Dropbox by deleting it from your linked devices at the bottom of your Security page here
- Delete the Dropbox folder (since the app will be unlinked, your files will not be affected)
- Relink by signing back in to the app
This should do the trick, but please keep me updated.

You should be able to locate the folder within your Finder and then delete it.

That's what is strange--it is no longer in my Finder. I cannot locate it using the Finder. So I don't know how to delete it.
