Dropbox Automatically Enters Startup

Dear Dropbox Community,   Long time Dropbox member.  I am puzzled by Dropbox automatically goes into my Mac startup apps everytime I sign in.   Is there a way to prevent this from happening. ...

    These are your online settings DiMarco - not the desktop app's preferences.

     

    To bring up the latter, you'd need to click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar

     

    If you don't have one, it means that the desktop app isn't running/installed on your computer at the moment.
