Dropbox App on Mac stopped working - no error message or activity
I have been using Dropbox on Mac for many years, but I just noticed that it stopped syncing about one week ago. The Dropbox icon doesn't appear on the top menu bar. When I try to click on the Dropbox app icon in the Applications finder folder to launch the app, it flashes for a second and then nothing happens. I looked in the Activity Monitor and it doesn't show any Dropbox processes there either.
If it helps, here's some info about my machine.
System Version: macOS 13.2.1 (22D68)
Kernel Version: Darwin 22.3.0
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro16,2
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Core i7
I recently updated the OS. Also, I installed Google Drive on the same computer around the time it stopped syncing, but Drive and Dropbox aren't in the same directories and shouldn't have any overlap.
Hey there, jcc13, welcome to our Community!
Weird behavior on the Dropbox app icon, that it flashes when you click on it. Can you try to uninstall the app, then re-install it once again?
Keep me posted!
