Cannot access my Download folder after uninstalling the Dropbox app
Hello,
I've been trying to access my Download file on my PC for a few days now.
However, I've been unable to access it since I uninstalled Dropbox, without realizing that my files were linked to it.
I've reinstalled the application, but it won't restore the right files. Dropbox was directly linked to my computer and there was no way of recovering a year's worth of work.
Every time I click on the "Download" folder, this pop-up appears.
Do you have any solutions?

Welcome to our Community, cardelie!
As a first step, I’d like you to go to your Backups page here, and let me know if you can access all contents of your Downloads folder normally.
Also, when reinstalling Dropbox on your computer, did you re-enable the computer backup feature on the app?
Let me know, and we’ll take it from there.
