Redirected to "Out of storage" page on web when I have 3.9 GB of quota remaining

When I try to take actions on the web in my account I am automatically redirected to this link:

However, I am not out of space. Here is my current quota:

  • Hi Megan. I have figured out the issue. I was trying to join a shared folder that had a size that was larger than my avaiable quota.

I did try multiple browser and clearing cookies/local storage. The issue still persisted with no helpful error message. I also tried the native Mac app and the Android app. The Android app did provide an error or UI that explained the folder I was trying to join was 10.7 GB. The web and Mac apps did not really provide any UI that helped me understand what was going on. A few suggestions:

    1. Add some type of flash state that provides a more helpful error message, or

    2. For this failure state it would be nice if there was an ability to request view only access from the sender so I could see the files, but not "join" and have the entire large folder counted against my quota.

    Thanks for your help.

Hi smash-rides, welcome to our Community!

You mentioned that this happens when you try to take some actions on our website. Could you clarify what you're trying to achieve, when this happens?

Also, have you tried a different browser, or an incognito mode on your current one?

    Keep me posted!
