Getting messages that my storage is full - but it isn't
My dropbox capacity is 5GB. I cleared several items out of DB down to about 1GB. And yet, I still get incessant messages that I'm at 105% capacity (which I am not). I'm also not running any automatic...

Thank you for your fast reply. After clearing out many files there was a folder that was shared with me the had large video files. However, in the window on my desktop next to it was an icon (cloud with down-arrow). I assumed this meant that file was not taking up space. However, I pulled that folder down from DB and that seems to have cleared up space.
It’s a little bit confusing tbh: on my Mac the file size of my DB folder indicates it’s at 110.2MB but in the browser DB indicates the folder is at 2.56 GB. It’s confusing bc there’s not much content other than pdf’s.

So, in this case, was it a Dropbox space issue or a hard drive space issue? I'm not entirely clear on that.
Regarding your Dropbox files, you can follow these steps to see their size in your account online, so you know which files are taking up your space.
