Back up of Dropbox to a Network Attached Storage
Hi Community, Is it possible to back up files from Dropbox to a Network Attached Storage? We need our files to be back up somewhere else. Thank you.

Hey constantinos, sorry to jump in here.
Dropbox and OneDrive (or any other file syncing service) do not work together.
You can manually copy your files to OneDrive if you wish, but the two services won't be linked/synced to each other.

Hey constantinos, thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community!
The easiest way to backup your files in Dropbox to a NAS would be to manually copy (upload) them there.
If you'd like a live backup though, you might need to use a 3rd party app or integration to achieve what you had in mind.
You can also search the Community or other forums on the internet for possible solutions.
I hope this helps!

Hey Walter,
Thanks for your reply.
How would I achieve a live back up through a third party integration?
Are there any instructions on how to do this?
Kindly waiting for your reply.

I read this in an article https://help.dropbox.com/organize/migrate-server-data:
- The Dropbox folder should not be installed on a Network Attached Storage (NAS) drive.
Is this true?

Yes. Dropbox does not support NAS devices for storage of the live Dropbox folder on your computer.
Check the capabilities of your NAS software. Many of them have a Dropbox client that can be set up to sync with your account. Just remember that this Dropbox client would be created by the NAS manufacturer and is not supported by Dropbox.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. This is well noted.
Another question can you back dropbox files and folders to one drive?
This would be another solution for us.
