All of a sudden I don't have space on my Dropbox account
Hi peeps,
I was given access to a folder by my NFP.
All good for a couple of months, now, although there is only 500mb of stuff in it, it has stopped syncing and I cant upload files to it.
There are other folders in the drop down, that are mine. Could my folders be taking me over the limit somehow? How do I fix it so that when I use this NFP folder, there is still 1.5TB to go?
Thanks for your help, this is driving me crazy

Since you have your own copy of the shared folder in your account, it takes up space in your account. Anything in the folder counts towards your storage space.
If you have a free Basic account (2GB by default) and you have access to a shared folder in someone's Plus account (2TB), once the folder has 2GB of data in it your account would be full (assuming you have no other files in your account).

Thanks so very much for engaging, that's very helpful.

And I as secretary can use it until all 2 tb are full, as well as have my own personal Dropbox which contains 2 TB of my own stuff.
I just have to ensure I log into the right shell and the person who gave me access needs to now add secretary@......
Did I get that right?
It's starting to make perfect sense. 😊
