The added features will be available to existing Plus accounts in the coming week. Dropbox slowly pushes such updates to ensure a successfull rollout.

Thanks Rich,
Can't wait...
You know if there's going to be some kind of notification or if I should go every now and then check if it suddenly appeared?
Or if each time I check, I have to quit the app, or make an update or re-install the whole thing?
Thanks again for your help
- Daphne6 years agoDropbox StaffHey there Binko, are you still not able to see the smart sync option in your desktop app yet?You will have received an email when your account was successfully upgraded to the new Dropbox Plus subscription. Then you can enable smart sync on your device by doing the following:
- Click the Dropbox icon in your menu bar.
- Click the gear icon in the top right of the window.
- Choose Preferences…
- Go to the General tab and enable Smart Sync.
Hope this helps - Cheers!
