Shared Folder Not Displaying on my account

I initiated a shared folder with a friend. Both of us have basic personal Dropbox plans. My friend received and accepted the share request, and the shared folder now displays in her PC dropbox account. But the shared folder does NOT display in my PC dropbox account. I received no error message saying there was any problem, and received no emails/texts requesting further action to complete the process. Could it be a space problem? I have created other shared folders with no problems. Please help. Thx

Hi JJI1, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Does the shared folder appear on the Dropbox site at all?

Does the folder contain any special characters in it which could prevent it from syncing?

This will help me to assist further!

First let me clarify that this issue is happening on my husband's account; I am simply writing for him. No, the shared folder does not display in his dropbox account anywhere- not on pc, iphone, or dropbox.com website. The shared folder does display in his friend's dropbox account in all three places. No, the shared folder does not contain special characters, unless a dash or a capital qualifies as 'special'; all his other shared folders are labeled the same way (RMD-JTI SHARED). Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
