How can I save signed PDF documents to the folder they originated from?
Hi!
I've used Dropbox Sign for quit a while. I draw up WORD documents. And signed them via Dropbox, through a browser window. WORD document got transformed into PDF for signing. The PDF were saved (in-process or completed or signed) in the same source folder.
Now, I use WORD 16.9 with the HELLOSIGN add-on. Signing is easy and fast. However, the signed PDF documents don't get saved into the same source folder. I have to go and fetch them in a browser window or in emails.
That's a waste of time for me.
How can I set parameters so that all signed documents get saved into the same location, next to the original WORD documents?
Thank you,
Freddy

Hey Frederikcs, welcome to the Dropbox Community and happy new year!
Can you let us know where the signed documents are being saved when you use the HelloSign add-on in Word?
During the steps you're following to sign and save the documents, are you given a choice to change the location the files are saved to?
Any additional info on the process you're following, would be really helpful.
Thanks.

Hi Hannah,
Yes, sure! Word => The DropboxSign Add-in add a Ribon with the title HelloSign => There I click Send for Signatures. This opens a new blank window within Word. The title of the window is HelloSign. There I: Add signers - Then Place fields - Then Review and send.
Once all parties have signed - a PDF is saved in - DROPBOX/HELLOSIGN/Requested signatures. Other folders there are Declined requests, Received, Sent, Signed and returned by you. In the folder Requested signatures I have over 300 signed PDF in no particulier order.
I do not get a choice to change the location the files are saved to.
There is another issue. Previously, my signature and initials, once chosen, were stored and saved to my account. When I sign via the Word Add-in, when I receive the email notifying me a contract has been signed by the first signer - and I click myself on Review and sign to sign the contract on my side, I now, each time, have to locate the JPG file with my scanned signature and company stamp. This is a waste of time.
I did go to my HelloSign DropboxSign account setting. The JPG Signatures are stored and save there. However they don't pop-up when signing via Word Add-In.
I would like all signed documents to be stored in the original source folder - but it seems impossible to set that paramater while signing via Word Add-In.
I would be great if your team could improve this. Let me know if you need any further information.
Kind regards,
