My files are not syncing to my Mac computer

Hi, I have multiple folders I would like to sync in the dropbox app; however, only one folder's content syncs. The other I can see, but the content does not sync and it is stuck syncing. I see no evidence of indexing or "x files to go". I have tried reinstalling and rebooting the app, logging out, relinking my account to no avail. Thank you in advance for your help!

    Can you hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar and let me know the exact sync status and version of the Dropbox app?

    Are the files in question available in your account on dropbox.com?
