How do I restrict someone's access to a folder in a Family Plan?
I am using a family plan and would like to restrict access to some of the folders on the plan so that some family members only see 1-2 files. Is that possible?

Hi Lexyg, thanks for posting on the Community.
In the Family plan, all users technically have their own accounts, and only one folder is automatically shared between all members, and that would be the Family Room, which can't be deleted, moved or renamed.
Apart from that, no other folders are shared between members, unless they are done so manually. Which folder are you trying to restrict access to?
This will help me to assist further!

Mmmmh - this is interesting! For instance, our daughter signed up to Dropbox via her mobile, and started her Camera Upload to clear some space. She has so many photos that I added her to my Family Room. So first question - where do her Camera Uploads go?
Secondly: I don't want granny and grandpa (also in the Family Room) necessarily having access to all her photos - ! I was hoping to limit access to her photos by switching off access within the Family Room - but I can't see a way to do that. Or is it the case that no one has access anyway to those photos unless they are given a link?
Any help gratefully received!
[I do appreciate the help text available - though sometimes it's confusing as to whether the help text is talking about Business accounts or Family Folder access within a personal account. On the other hand, I do pay £££ each month - so it's just as well! Thanks.]

Hi PierreLapin77! Hope you’re doing well.
Since the grandparents are part of the Family plan, I’m afraid it’s not possible to remove them from the Family Room folder.
However, any photos that are automatically added to your daughter’s Dropbox account via camera uploads can be found within her “camera uploads” folder on Dropbox, which is personal and not shared with anyone else.
So, her grandparents shouldn’t be able to see any of the photos that are automatically uploaded this way anyways.
Hope this clarifies things a bit.
