How do I make distinct monthly backups to Dropbox?
I've upgraded my DropBox account to the one with a one-year Rewind option, though it seems a waste since Rewind is opaque about what files are contained in very large deletions. Since I now have ca. 3 TB, I want to set DropBox to save my DropBox files in monthly iterations, in addition to the usual constant synch.
What is the most efficient way to do this? I don't want to save images of my directory. I want to save files in their normal directory structure on DropBox every month.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Sparky_McGuffin, thanks for providing these details.
Currently, it isn't possible to perform a monthly backup in the way you're describing using the Dropbox service, as the files are synced continuously.
There may be some third party apps or services that can link to Dropbox which may help with your requirements.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
