getting icloud photos into dropbox

i want to get my photos and videos off icloud and into dropbox for safe keeping, I downloaded all of my photos etc (in a zip file) but I can not do anything with the file! i tried to c...

If the file isn't opening after downloading it, then it sounds like an issue with the zip file or iCloud itself, and not Dropbox. Have you tried contacting Apple support regarding this matter?

Hi tinatoby, thanks for messaging the Community!
Once you download the photos from iCloud, using these steps, you can unzip the file and upload them to the Dropbox site.
If you have the Dropbox desktop application installed, you can move those photos into the Dropbox folder and they'll also upload to the site via the app.
