Folders that I created don't have me as the owner.
Hi - I have noticed that a few folders I created and shared with others (giving them edit access) does not have me listed as the folder owner and therefore is not letting me manage access to that folder (I want to remove some people). How do I fix this?
Dropbox cannot change a folder owner unless its done via the website. Its simply not possible. You can go back via emails to see who set it up, or, possibly via www.dropbox.com/events.
You can delete the folder yes - simply leave or remove it from share when setting up new one.

Whoever is the owner of the folder needs to give you access to it.
Or if there are none listed you need to set up a new one.

I created the folder and should be the owner - but I am not listed as such. This has happened on 2 of the folders I created and then shared to others. Is this a glitch in their software? Can I still delete the old folder if I move the files to a new folder?
