Hi there, I shared a folder with several people. They are not yet a Dropbox customer and do not yet have an account. Can these people be notified by email if a file in this shared folder or folder c...

No, and even if they did have an account, they would only receive a weekly digest of changes made within the folder, and not a notification each time a file is changed.
