Ending support of public folder
Just heard from dropbox that support for the public folder is ending.

- 8 years agoLGM - the issue is that people are abusing it and causing issues for everybody by getting the Dropbox domains blacklisted which cause emails to fail and downloads to be blocked by firewalls etc.
In terms of changing the extension, sorry, no idea how you would do that!

You still can with Dropbox.... as has already been said.
And the issue isnt the BB links. Its the fact Public folders can host HTML pages at present. They've also been a depreciated feature now for many years. Its hardly an unexpected move

There should be a demonstration for this, a lot of my important stuff in the public folder, I'm really sad about Dropbox :(

OK, so I now have to go through hundreds of google+, facebook, forum post and chnage the links? Nope, aint gonna happen.
Amazon gives me unlimited photo storage with Prime. The share features aren't as easy, but hey, if I have to change everything anyway I think I'll not be renewing my storage plan.
