Dropbox stopped syncing since May on MacBook pro running ver 12.6.7-unable to syc anymore

It is syncing on my other computer and iPhone but not on my MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.6.7

I have the same problem. I am running Mac OS Monterey 12.6.8. I deleted the old app and id an advanced reinstall and am still getting the "Couldn't start Dropbox" message. Can you help?

Hey mjacobs, sorry to hear about this.
I just want to mention that to run the Dropbox desktop app on your Mac you need:
- macOS 10.13 High Sierra and later

I am running MacOS 12.6.8. Monterey and it is as up to date as it can be. I tried removing the old Dropbox and then did the advanced reinstall. No joy.

Hi mjacobs, I'm afraid that since the device doesn't meet the necessary requirements to run the desktop app, we won't be able to help much with this.
That said, you can have a look here for more information on what you can do in such cases, if you like.

I am on a 2011 imac and I cannot update the system software on this model. I do not intend on getting a new imac at this time. Why doesn't dropbox allow using your older version software to access the files from older computers?
