Yes it’s been resolved. First going into IOS settings App on iPad and scrolling down to Dropbox and checking in there that Photos and read and write are enabled( they were). And that background app refresh is on ( it was ).
next opening Dropbox app and Accounts (bottom menu), scrolling down to camera upload and checking its on( it wasn’t) then checking videos option is on after enabling camera upload( it wasn’t).
after this going to photos and seeing video is slowly uploading!
many thanks for the help and support!

Hey there Jq1,
Can you let me know if you are trying to upload the video manually through the app or via automatic camera uploads?
Also since this is a long video, can you please check the space available in your Dropbox account and see if you have enough space to upload this video? You can see your available space by tapping on the Account tab within the Dropbox mobile app and you’ll need to check the size of the video from your camera roll.
I’m looking forward to hearing back from you - Cheers!

Hi the Dropbox space is 2.89 gb.
i tried to manually upload through the app.
the video is 24 min 38 ‘ long.
- Daphne6 years agoDropbox StaffHey again ,Can you please check the actual size of the file in GB for me? You can’t directly do this from the Camera roll I understand, but you can easily work around this so I suggested some steps below to do so:Spoiler
- Locate the video within the camera roll.
- “Share” the video and save to your Files app in any location.
- Navigate to the Files app and you will see the size of the video.
Thanks in advance!- Jq16 years agoHelpful | Level 6
It’s 1.31 gb
