Can a password sent to a viewer be copied and shared to a third party?

Hi David131, you could try adding your mp4 files in a shared folder, and then sharing the folder directly to the people that need to access it.
However, in this scenario, people would need to have a Dropbox account, in order to access the content. You can do this using any kind of plan.
Now, if you wish to use shared links, then keep in mind that what applies on the Professional plan, applies to the Business ones too.
We don't have a specific plan, that allows you to share links, entirely privately, other than what you already know about password restriction.

Hi David131, I'd be more than happy to help!
When you talk about password protection, is it safe to assume you're talking about shared links? If not, feel free to clarify.
Provided you're talking about that, then yes this is a possibility. If you share a link with me, and provide me with the password, I could then share both the link and the password with someone else.
Let me know more!

Thanks for your reply, Megan.
Yes, I am referring to shared links.
Could you please clarify for me whether or not the Professional plan on Dropbox has the option to share mp4 files on a private setting only with selected viewers who are outside the account so that they cannot share the mp4 files on a private setting with a third party? If this is not an option on the Professional plan, could you kindly recommend an alternative plan on Dropbox which does?
