When highlighting text to comment on a specific part of a pdf, text is covered up with yellow box.

Hi there!

When I select text to comment, the selected text is obscured by a yellow box while I'm typing the comment itself, while the comment is selected, and while my mouse hovers over the text, as below:

This is incredibly frustrating, as I'm using the comment function to suggest copy edits, and I can't see the text I'm supposed to be editing! This is happening in both Safari and Chrome on a 2020 Macbook Air running Ventura 13.4.1, I have restarted both programs and this hasn't resolved the error.

Thanks!

Caitlin
