What happens to my files when Dropbox Support reverts the file deletions on my account?

Hey All.  Somehow most of my dropbox files were deleted.  We'll call it an "incident" but I'm fairly certain that translates to "user error".  The Dropbox team is in the process of reverting my entire dropbox to a date and time prior to the "incident".  I'm a little unclear what happens after that.  After the "Incident" my MacBook synced overnight and deleted all the files from my dropbox folder on my hard drive.  Once my cloud files are restored/reverted won't the first sync just re-delete everything and mirror what is currently on my MacBook?

Everything that's restored in your account should sync back down to your MacBook.
