Shared Folder Icon showing but no sharing details available
Using latest updated version of Win 10 as at Sep 2021. Firefox updated & latest version of browser as at same date. Using web version of Dropbox.
Using the left pane 'Shared' I notice some folders appear to be shared with others. Some of the folders are clearly shared properly, and I can see on the Right Hand pane which people they are shared with, which is good.
For some folders, they have the correct icon (double person) but when I check, it is clearly not shared with anybody. There are no details on the shared pane, it says 'only you have access' & there appears to be no link generated.
Therefore, I have no idea why the icon shows Shared and it is referred to in the left hand pane 'Shared' section.
Any ideas?
Hi Danny13
Basically it means that at some point it was a shared folder, but, either everybody has left it themselves, or, you have removed them but not yourself. So it is still technically a shared folder (others could rejoin if they left themselves) although at this moment in time you are the only member.
If you remove yourself from the share it will go back to being a 'normal' folder - BUT beware you will lose all version history of that folder if you do it.

Also note that on Folder Settings there is an option to "Unshare Folder" which automatically Unshare from everyone and there is an option to delete their copy also.
