Delete document results in an error: "your device doesn't have an app to display this type of file".

I'm trying to delete a document, but I can't because I get the message: your device doesn't have an app to display this type of file.   Anyone know how I can delete the file?

Hi Ruud3, welcome to our Community! 

 

I'm assuming that you're trying to delete a document inside your Dropbox folder, locally on the device, right? 

 

Have you tried using these steps, in order to delete the content online? If so, what is the results?
