    Recently I have accidentally drag and drop my files on a webpage on chrome. It redirects me to the file as if the browser just open the file. The url tells me that it is a local file. Will there be any security breach? For instance, will the site owners have access to my files? Or the directory and filenames? " 
     
    The message above was posted on google chrome help by "Accidental Ben" 
     
    This is basically what happened, however there are no posts with solutions there. 
     
    I thought I would share it here, maybe my message was vague. If anyone could shed some light that would be appreciated.
