Found old dropbox folders - can I delete them?

Hi!

I found some OLD dropbox folders from 2017 and 2022 - if I delete them, will those files stay in the cloud, and sync to my computers?

    Just for clarification, are these folders on your computer, or on the Dropbox site? Are you currently using the Dropbox desktop application?

     

    Do the files in those folders have any sync icons on them currently?
