Don't remove Dropbox Showcase !

I´m very angry. I got several showcase that functios as a permanet way to my customers to access to the material a deliver in a visual an organized way. Deliver videos to me is not as easy as send a link one time and finish. I deliver to a big corporation an many people thougth time has to access and showcase is the meeting point to this. Now, i´m really mess up.

Too bad dropbox. Right now...looking for other options.

I agree as well. I thought with a couple more features that Showcase could be a viable alternative to very expensive DAM solutions like Brandfolder.

You might want to check Sharekits.com as an alternative.
It lets you create microsites from your Dropbox content, add videos, share directly from Gmail or Outlook, and has deeper tracking functionality.

qq4  Your suggestion of this being an alternative to sites like Brandfolder is exactly on point. I also think Showcase functions well for proposals & moodboards.

I am highly disapponted in losing this feature. What does it hurt keeping it? It seems folks are using this feature! I am for sure. It's a way to showcase my work to potential clients, in a logical, ordered way. I will also be looking to shop around for ne wservice providers. I don't want piece-meal options. i want a one-stop shop and this was the answer...until now. Too bad...

I strongly agree that showcase needs it be kept. Can we get any reply from Dropbox as to if there is even a slight chance of going back on their decision please.

Showcase is vital for me. Worst case just keep it as is even if you don't update it with new features (only maininance to keep it updated with latest browsers.)

I also use Showcase.  I use it to present graphical options to my clients for them to make choices from.  So I have a branded link that I can send to a client, they can go and look at the options available and then they let me know which options they want to go with.

Since Showcase is being removed I don't know what options I have in Dropbox to do the same thing, I guess I will have to build something in my website or find another company that can supply the functionality.

I'm not happy about this, especially the flippant tone that Dropbox has taken with it, it almost sounds like they are doing us a favour by removing the functionality, but hey they had feedback from their customers?
