Hi Bart__, thanks for messaging the Community!
Currently, tagging specific people to then search for them isn't possible on the Dropbox service.
However, there are two features that might help. The image search feature, which is available on certain plans, can find more generic items, like 'cat', 'tree' and so on. There is also the separate ability to tag any file as you like, so you could add people's names in that manner.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
- Double_h20022 months agoNew member | Level 2Is this at all on the roadmap and if so, for when? This would be a reason for me to leave my paid plan and move to Google Drive, as it allows me to search for photos of say "Thomas", which is super practical when preparing photos for a birthday, wedding, funeral, etc.

Hey Double_h2002, I would suggest posting this as an idea on our Ideas board for other users to up-vote.
Our team takes into consideration interesting feature requests that gather lots of votes.
Cheers!
