After upgrading to a Dropbox team, I'm unable to edit on 'Excel for the Web' when others are editing
Hi,
Am on the Dropbox Business Plus trial plan and owner of a folder shared with personal Dropboxes. We use an excel spreadsheet on the web/Chrome via dropbox but after updating to this trial plan, am locked out of the excel file on the web when others are editing. I can only enter when no one else is editing but the moment they access the file mid way I am locked out again. I have cleared cache, double checked that I have not locked the file for editing nor the other users too, restarted the laptop. Everyone else seem to access it without issue. Please advise:(

Hey @shai8! Thanks for posting this on our Community.
While having a Microsoft license isn’t necessary when co-authoring files online on your personal Dropbox account, this doesn’t apply for Dropbox teams I’m afraid.
If you’re on a Dropbox team, you’ll need an enterprise Microsoft account and a license that allows editing in Office Online (for more info, you can check out this Help Center article).
Let me know if you have any other questions, though.

Hi Nancy, thanks. Even for Excel for Web? Co-authoring for Excel for Web had been fine fow several months whilst I was within other Dropbox teams - only now under this current team.
