After a brief test on a video, I didn't experience this issue, the words had a single space between each word.
Could you let us know more information about what you're experiencing, such as what type of document you're transcribing, and into which exact version of Word you're pasting the transcript into?

Well, I just went into the exact file that I was talking about and it's all different now and it's only one space between the words so it's fine now. Weird. Did you maybe fix something on your end? This is great and I can certainly use it now. If anything else comes up, I now know where to come.
