Why can't I sort files by creation date?

Hi Poppy17, thanks for posting on the Dropbox site!
There previously wasn’t an option to view items by creation date, it has always been ‘Modified’ on the site and desktop app.
Are you perhaps referring to your files in the Dropbox folder in Explorer/Finder? Those do provide the option to view files in by Creation date.

As others have said the modified date is irrelevant when managing older photos because the goals is to sort by when they were originally taken. Are there plans to add this feature in the roadmap?
