I'm getting a 'network error' when downloading a zip file (2.5 GB). Can you help?
Hi I am trying to download a 2.5 GB Zip file, and every time it says Network Error and fails. Even after going for hours. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it my internet? Thanks Anna

Hi AnnaJH; welcome to our Community and happy Monday!
Can you please clear your browser's cache and try again?
If that doesn't work, you can also try an incognito window or even a completely different browser (with no plugins or extensions enabled).
If you still get the same error, I'd appreciate a screenshot so I can have a visual too.
Thanks a bunch Anna!

Hey,
Thanks so much for the reply..
I've tried clearing cache in both Chrome and Safari, both times crash after about 2 hours. I've attached the screen shots - they don't give me much info? Any help appreciated
Thanks

What about the incognito window with no browser extensions/plugins running Anna? Can you give it a go and let me know if you get the same results?
If you do, can you please clarify the size of the file you're trying to download (your screenshot shows a relatively large file i.e. 17.03 GB) and if you get those errors upon downloading or perhaps when trying to open the mentioned file?
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. I have a 72GB Zip file, when I try to download the whole thing it just says Download it says Zip Download failed. So I've been trying break it up. It seems to get to about 60% downloaded then I get the error messages. Both recent attempts were Incognito browsers. I have various applications on my machine, but I shut everything down and set the download over night and the same thing has happened. I've tried again this morning, and got the same messages I sent.
Will it be because the files are too large? I was downloading on to an external hard drive so space shouldn't be an issue.
