If it is a shared folder that you set up (i.e. one they have in their account on there device) then they will have download access and rights.
None download etc. is only available on shared links where there is no edit access

Mark is there a way to share file and also aprove the person for it ?
I mean, I am sharing view link with disabled downloading option. I set that only people invited can view this file.
I share this link and they have to request access. They send request and then I get notification that I neeed to aprove the person. If the person is eligible in my own system I approve it. But after I aprove it also sends a mail from Dropbox to the person with the link where the person can also DOWNLOAD and edit the file 😄 but after I aprove it the original link is accepted as a view and on that link its unable to download it but at the same time it sends the mail from dropbox where they can download it 😄
Whats the logic here ? How to do this so it downloading is disabled and also I can aprove the user. Bcs if another user request it I can see that its not the right person and I dont have to approve it. I dont want them to send links and just download my files.
Whats workaround? Thank u 🙂
