I'm trying to download a file from my Dropbox, but I get a message saying the link doesn't work

I am trying to retrieve a file from my Dropbox but I am getting a message saying "This link doesn't work anymore". Is there any way to retrieve the video file?

Hi Cookie-d, thanks for messaging the Community.

It sounds like you're trying to access a shared link to a file, is that correct?

Are you the owner of the file that you're trying to access?

This will help me to assist further!

        Yes. I am the owner

If you're the owner of the file and it exists in your own account, then you don't need the link to access it. You can just locate the file within your account on the Dropbox website.

If the link was generated on someone else's account, then you would need to ask them for a new link as the file has either been deleted or the link removed.
