I can no longer open the hyperlinks on other computers.

Hey 16592181, sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to mention that this is happening probably because the hyperlinks you created on your Mac point to your local files on your computer.
Since this set-up would be device specific, any other users or devices that would try to access those hyperlinks would get an error.

Thank you for contacting us.
In Dropbox, there are many PDF files in addition to Excel files, and their hyperlinks are set in Excel cells.
On a Mac, when you click on a hyperlink, you may see a message saying, "The file may contain viruses that could affect your computer," but pressing OK allows you to open the file.
On the other hand, on Windows computers, you see a message saying "Cannot open" and cannot open the PDF files with hyperlinks.

Thanks for your response!
Are these hyperlinks from local files (local file paths) or URLs from the files on dropbox.com?

Thank you for your message.
The hyperlinks were created using PDF files located in the Finder on the installed Mac.
On the other hand, hyperlinks created on other Windows computers before using the Mac can no longer be opened on Windows computers either.

Thanks!
And can you let me know a bit more about the process you're following to create the hyperlinks?

First, right-click on the cell where you want to add a hyperlink.
Next, select "Hyperlink" and click on it to display the "Insert Hyperlink" tab.
From this screen, select the PDF file synced with Dropbox and click "OK." This is the process for creating a hyperlink.
However, only two files were created using this method, while the remaining 600+ files were created on a Windows computer.
Both the hyperlinks created on a Mac and those created on Windows can no longer be opened on Windows computers.
